About this experience

Mindfulness is the practice of maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.

In our modern age it can be difficult to stay present. We are constently moving from one daily task to the next without truly taking in the experiences happening all around and within us.

Both painting and meditation have been found linked as they both improve mood and reduce stress. There are many more beifits of practicing Mindful Art such as: 

  • Improved intuition and trust in your own body (how you are feeling and what it means)

  • Increased emotional awareness

  • Increased sense of control and ability to share inner thoughts

  • Improved awareness of underlying issues that have been hidden

  • Ability to communicate abstract feelings

  • Increased self-esteem and self-acceptance

  • Improved attention span

Join Peyton and Emily for a one hour class where we will explore our creative minds and rest in a gentle state of mindful awareness. This week we will be creating Mandala coasters using dot art. This is a BYOB event, and tea will be served as well.
