Massage is the manipulating of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques, to enhance function, aid in the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being.
The significant benefits of massage therapy include, but are not limited to, increased blood circulation resulting in improved sleep, pain management, increased flexibility, reduced stress, reduced inflammation, and improved immune system by encouraging the flow of lymphatic fluid.
Sunny offers Swedish and localized deep tissue massage. This massage focuses on muscle relaxation, targeting superficial muscles with specific/ deeper tissue work on up to two trouble areas. Gentle stretching is also included.
Sunny also offers a relaxing Cold Stone Facial Massage. This massage has a soothing effect on the delicate skin of the face and neck. It helps in increasing blood circulation, relaxes facial muscles, and offers a healthy glow. It effectively treats inflammation, redness, and facial tension lines by gently lifting and firming.

Your Host
My name is Sunny Parr. I live in Denton with my super sweet and supportive husband and our three beautiful daughters; two of our own and one bonus. We are avid gardeners and find it extremely therapeutic. I always say gardening is my therapy and music is my medicine. In 2020, amid the pandemic, I left my job with Denton County, after 15 years of service. It was no longer sparking joy and I knew I needed a drastic change. After much soul searching and contemplation, I made the decision to attend Massage Institute of North Texas, formerly Institute of Bodywork Studies. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. There are few things I love more than helping people. Massage therapy gives me the opportunity to help people feel better, and, when we feel better, we live better.
